Rules and Payment
- These values include all the legal fees in force.
- To reserve you will have to pay half of the value of the reservation by bank transfer.
- The remaining value will have to be paid until 48 hours before check-in.
- A deposit of 30 euros will be paid and will be refunded at check-out, to protect against possible damages.
- The prices of the night value will vary according to the days, dates, seasons or promotions in force.
- Special rule Covid 19 – for the purpose of a correct hygiene between guests there will have to be a spacing of 1 day between reservations.

In case you choose face check-in, we request that all guests present themselves with face masks.
In case it is not possible, for any reason, we can make available the masks they need for a payment of 0.75 euros each.
Autonomous Check-in
Through an automatic entry code to promote social distancing, recommended by WHO (World Health Organization) and DGS (Directorate General for Health) in the current Covid 19 global pandemic framework.
In case guests choose this modality they will have to commit themselves to filling in the accommodation bulletin with the necessary data to communicate to SEF (Foreigners and Borders Services) their stay in the accommodation under the law 23/2007 of July 4th.
It is also important to underline that, although you will not be received personally, we will always be at your disposal to contact you either to answer any kind of question or to help you with anything you need.

In this situation the check-in can be done at any time from 14.00 hours.
Check-out and Luggage

The check-out must be made by 11.00 a.m. at the latest.
We will have to have the necessary and adequate period of time to proceed to the hygienization of the lodging, in a careful and meticulous way for the following guests.
Luggage
Luggage cannot be deposited in the accommodation after check-out.
We can recommend a place where you can store it, safely, if you wish.
Location
Reference Point: House of Writing (located in front).
It is located in a quiet street (there are only houses and student residences) without bars or restaurants.
Approximately 5 minutes walk from the accommodation you can go to the University of Coimbra (the oldest in Portugal and one of the oldest in the world, from the year 1290) in the School Steps and that includes the Library Joanina, Room of the Chapels, Chapel of S. Miguel, Academic Prison, Via Latina and Torre da Universidade.
Parking
There are free public parking spaces on the street of the accommodation.
There is paid parking in the D. Pedro V parking lot and in Rua Padre António Vieira. Both are approximately 300 meters away from the accommodation.

Covid 19 Contingency Plan
In the course of our activity our motto has always been “More cleanliness for greater well-being”.
In the current situation due to the pandemic outbreak of Covid 19 our motto has become a mission and we have taken on more strongly our commitment to cleanliness and hygiene for our guests.
Therefore our motto has become “Greater hygienization for maximum safety and well-being”.
For a greater consistency of this principle we adhere to the seal “Clean & safe” awarded by Turismo de Portugal in which we assume a strong commitment to hygiene of our apartments so that our guests, during their stay with us, feel safe and comfortable.
We have an internal protocol with demanding rules of cleaning and sanitization of the different spaces and surfaces of the accommodation and with the use of sanitizing products registered with the DGS (Directorate General of Health) and respecting the rules of environmental protection.
The disinfection products used are Greendet brand, duly certified by DGS.
In addition to the use of these products we vacuum the space with a steam machine at an average temperature of 60º.
– “Free Shoes” housing.
The shoes should be left at the entrance of the apartment in a proper place.
Guests should bring slippers or similar to circulate inside the accommodation.
If they do not bring slippers, they will be made available by us, properly sanitized, so that they can be used by the guests during their stay in the apartments.
We have also prepared a Contingency Plan in case any guest presents any of the symptoms of Covid 19.
In this situation the following steps must be followed:
1º – Move to the place of accommodation defined as the confinement space that in this plan is considered the area of the bedroom of each apartment

2º – Call the host’s contact so that he can give you all the support you need +351 918 122 984
3º – Wait for the instructions issued by the health technician
4º – If you are informed by the respective technician that the symptoms you mention are not compatible with the suspicion of Covid- 19 you can resume your normal activity
5º If you are informed that you may be contaminated with Covid-19 you will have to wait at the confinement site for the arrival of a health professional
6º You will have a Covid KIT with a face mask, a disinfectant, disposable gloves, a thermometer, water and some non-perishable food items that you can consume while waiting for the arrival of the health technician.
7º In case it is confirmed that you have the Covid -19 you will have to have a special care with the residues that you produce.
They will have to be introduced inside a bag in the garbage can of exclusive use of the contaminated person.
When it is not yet well filled it must be well closed and introduced inside a second garbage bag.
You can then go to the normal garbage container.
After this process you should wash and disinfect your hands very well.
