The JJacintho Flats accommodations appeared in Coimbra, in June 2018, from the desire to create several spaces where we can receive our guests from the 4 corners of the world where we combine comfort, tranquility and well-being with its central location.
Above all, we want our guests to be able to experience the city without having problems with mobility (since the main landmarks of the city of Coimbra are within walking distance of the apartments) and at the same time have a safe haven to call their home while staying in the city.
Our main motto is “Greater well-being for a better stay” which includes, in the current global pandemic of Covid 19 “Better cleaning for greater security”.
Therefore our main mission is to gather all the requirements of comfort, hygiene and safety, in our accommodations, so that our guests can feel as if they were in their own home.
Hi, I am Isabel!
I first arrived in Coimbra, in September 1984, to study Law at the so emblematic University of Coimbra.
It was with great pride that, in this charming city, I took my first steps in my academic life and got involved in all its intense dynamics.
I was so enchanted by this magical city that I quickly adopted it as my hometown and stayed here and formed a family.
I have had several professional courses throughout my life, facing the most varied challenges, until I arrived at Local Accommodation.
This activity arose as a result of my vigorous passion for travel.
I have traveled through several countries, not invalidating, however, the strange feeling that always remains in me that I still have the whole world to know.
Finding myself in a transition phase of my life, due to having finished a professional project, I thought it would make perfect sense to dedicate myself to receiving and helping to provide a memorable stay in “my city” to all those who, so kindly, have already received me one day, or will come to receive me, in their places of origin around the world.
And it was this so enriching exchange of experiences that made me come here…to have the privilege of personally welcoming at least some of the visitors who so kindly put our beautiful and charming city of Coimbra on their travel route.
